History Shows

I put on history-themed stage shows, talks and group events. Come and join me…..

Theatre evenings, private events and talks

I have been selling out auditoria for the past two years, bringing neglected historical events back to life for modern audiences.

In late 2023 I came across a long-forgotten murder case from the 1920s involving a doomed love triangle between a bankrupt millionaire playboy, his wife, and her lover - an international sports star & war-hero. The case was all the more remarkable for taking place in Whitstable, a small, sleepy seaside town, more famous for oysters than murders.

The case was so extraordinary that I approached a local theatre to see if they would be interested in a one-man evening all about it….in something of an unexpected turn of events, I have been performing to sold out audiences ever since.

Inspired by my theatre nights, I also put on private events to groups of friends, family or work colleagues. Using documents from the original case file, the assembled group act as the jury on a real-life historic murder. I guide everyone through the evidence that was gathered against the prime suspect and presented at the actual court case - their job is then simple, was the defendant guilty or not guilty?

As well as informal evenings to private groups, I also use the historic murder cases to put on highly original staff development for organisations of all shapes and sizes.
