We the Jury

Join eleven others to form a jury in this true-crime history event. Examine the evidence from a real-life historical murder….

Will you find the defendant guilty or not guilty?

If you enjoy learning about true-crime, this event could be right up your street. ‘We the Jury’ sees you team up with eleven other people to act as the jury on a real-life historic murder. Using documents from the original case file, I will guide you all through the key evidence that was gathered against the prime suspect and presented at the actual court case.

Your job is then simple – do you and your fellow jurors find the defendant guilty or not guilty? Do you agree with your colleagues or do you have what it takes to be your own version of ‘Juror 8’ from 12 Angry Men and dissent?

Each event takes about 2 hours and takes place either online or face-to-face, depending on location. Book individual tickets or get a group of friends, family members or work colleagues together for a Group Jury – either work brilliantly and are highly thought-provoking and enjoyable experiences.

COMING SOON - Death in the Nursery

Individual bookings are for online events and come as close as possible to replicating the actual jury from the case in question - work with people who aren't influenced by their previous knowledge of each other, in order to weigh up the evidence and determine one person’s fate. They are particularly great for meeting like-minded people who share an interest in true-crime, history and thinking deeply about important issues.

Booking a Group Jury means you can get to choose the court date and the location (online or face to face - geography/date depending). They are perfect for a group of friends or family members looking for something a little bit different, including for things like birthday or anniversary presents. However, they are also fantastic team-building and staff development experiences for work-colleagues and offer a far more creative and thought-provoking experience than the standard away day.

If you have any questions about the 'We the Jury’ events that aren’t covered in the above, do get in touch via the contact page - no question is too small!
